Item sold for less than max bid

Hi everyone,

I have just lost an item but don't know why. 

I put in a maximum bid of £550 with 40 seconds left to go. The auction ran to the end and the item sold for £441 to someone else. 

Have I missed a step or something? 

Is there anything I can do about it? 

I have a screenshot of the listing with my bid. But having searched for the item within the 'Sold' filter, it isn't there.

Without more information one can only guess thast as you have not used your account for a very long time it might be inactive.

 I couldn't upload it in my initial post. But here it is. 

This is all the info I have. The listing doesn't have appear under the 'sold' filter.

Ive been using it regularly for the last few months. I bought a van the other week.

You can find the bike if you look at 'completed listings' rather than 'sold'.

The bid history shows 2 bids from you - these are anonymous but there is a bidder with a feedback of 4 which I assume is you - of 411 and 441 at 09.24.37.

It looks as if your final, higher bid simply did not register.

The seller may well relist the bike.

It had a reserve on which was not met and it didn't sell.

Thanks for that. I didn't see the completed listings toggle. 

The listing didn't show anything about a reserve. Never mind. 

That would explain it then.
