Item received late

Dear eBay Customer Service,

I am writing to file a complaint regarding an order I placed on 22 May with a seller on your platform. The estimated delivery date was 28 May, but the item did not arrive until 30 May.

I urgently needed the boxes to take abroad and could not wait for the delayed delivery. As a result, I had no choice but to purchase the same items overseas at nearly three times the original cost.

Due to the late delivery, I no longer need the items and have requested a return and refund from the seller. However, I have not received a response to my messages, which is very disappointing. They are trying to ignore me and not do the refund.

Please help me on this issue.

Did you open a suitable Return case ? --- messages will not do ! --- Timing is important --- remember that you have only 30 days to open a suitable (? not as described) case  --- enter return details --- Escalate to eBay after 4 complete days for a full refund --- >

We are not ebay customer service.

 

The ebay money back guarantee allows you to open a case for item not as described if your item arrives after the expected delivery date. 

 

You then return it at the seller's expense for a full refund.
