I brought some 2025 Wilson Dynapower golf clubs, the images were stock photos from an American golf shop. The clubs received were in fact the old 2024 clubs with incorrect shafts ( not as described) He was selling these as an unwanted gift.
He happens to be selling another 2025 set also an unwanted gift.
Apparently these were wedding gifts!

If you used not as described and were within the 30 days it would not be rejected.

I contacted the seller and he basically said its my fault so tough

Yep have managed to get past the AI bot and have now managed to apply for the return as items not as described . He has been notified and has until next Tuesday to reply and action the return or Ebay will step in. EBay are holding the funds

I have emails asking to return but have had no reply, EBay will step in on the 1st July if they have not made contact.

You have to escalate to ebay on day 4, it is not automatic. 

You go to case and click "Ask ebay to step in".
