Item listed for postage but cust wants to collect

Hi, I've told an item but have it listed as for postage but the buyer wants to collect. I'm unsure how Ebay will know the customer has the item if I don't post it. What should I do? say yes to the collection or no and post it?

You should either post it, or cancel and relist for collection and the buyer buys it again.

The risk is that if collected, you have no code from buyer to prove delivery, so a dishonest buyer could claim not received and get a full refund.

Not very likely, but it will happen particularly on higher value items.
