Item is marked as SOLD but Ebay is asking me to resist the item. Which is it? Sold or not?

EBAY has marked an item as having been sold, but is also asking me to resist the item as it is unsold - so which is it, sold or not sold? This is most confusing and has never happened before in the previous 2000+ sales.

Some are saying items are going into unsold today,and its a site glitch,and maintenance day to.

Ebay will notify if it's been sold,along with confirming payment

It's Friday, which is eBay's maintenance day and many things go a little awry,  appearing and disappearing at will, and some option / features not available from time to time.

Try again a little later on , it should be a little clearer as to the item's status and back to norm.
