I purchased a new genuine Dyson cyclone replacement in July which worked fine initially, but has developed a fault, 114 days after purchase.
I contacted the seller to request repair, replacement or refund, and they have replied to advise they won't assist as the item is beyond the 90 day return window.
They told me I would need to invoke the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer requires proof of purchase, but when I requested an invoice, the seller advised they would not supply this due to "data protection."
What can I do please? I'm now stuck with a faulty £99.99 item, paid for by debit card. Can I invoke chargeback?
