Item bought is not compatible in UK

Bought some LED Headlight bulbs for my car (Ford Ranger) last December (over 4 months ago). All appeared to work, but now I've taken it for its annual MOT test it has FAILED due to both headlights having an incompatible light source (.... Headlamplight source and lamp not compatible (4.1.4c)). Repalced with original bulbs and test passed.

Seller based in CHina has not responded to messages, and its beyond ebay money back guarantee. Im caught in the death loop that I cant raise a dispute because purchase is too old even though it would be unreasonable for me to have known it would fail.

How do I get my money back?

You won't be able to do anything via ebay but try contacting your payment provider.   Depending on how you paid you may get a refund from them.

Always best to check for item compatability prior to buying , especially from China, as after market bulbs can result in an MOT fail, not to mention they can cause over heating issues and flickering!
