Hi,
Please be kind with your responses.
i sold an item in December, the buyer contacted me around the middle of March to say I’d made a mistake with the order. I apologies and sent a replacement. They then contacted me the start of April to say the replacement hasn’t arrived. I was going on holiday the same day so quickly sent another replacement. They’ve now opened a item not received case to say the 2nd replacement hadn’t arrived, and a message accusing me of having no intention of replacing them (I have recipts to prove I did).
Where do I stand? I assume I’ll need to refund, it’s just extremely fustraiting (and unlikely?) that two items have gone missing.

Buyer had 30 days to open ebay case, after that any dispute is between you & buyer, ebay won't get involved.
Best way to deal with case if within 30 days is to refund & buyer reorders.
You are also trading illegally as unregistered business, private sellers do not have multiples of new items.

It's up to you but you don't need to refund. They were already too late the first time as far as ebay is concerned. They only allow 30 days for claims. The buyer needs to sort out their address details or look into what's going on at their end. By the way, you should look into registering as a business seller on ebay.

Hi,
Would you reccomend just ignoring the case and letting it escalate to eBay?
I looked into when I started but was under the impression because I make less than £2k I didn’t have to, but will have another look. Thank you

Buyer can't escalate to ebay as they are past the 30 day limit,
the time starts from original purchase, not when you resent item.
You are buying items to sell, so by law must upgrade to business. seller.
Ebay report your type of account to HMRC.

Yes, the case will expire eventually.
