I wonder if anyone can help with the problem I have.
I had a burst water pipe in my stock room and this damaged a number of items which I had listed. I have over 5,000 listed and its hard to keep a track on the items which were damaged. I have 10 defect items which were sold and mistakenly cancelled the order to not in stock. This has now gone against my seller rating and all promotions have stopped. I appealed these defects due to the damaged caused and eBay refused these? They said as my seller rating has not been affected {above standard} they only remove if it falls due to the defects. I'm now below standard due to these defects. I chatted with an online ebay employee yesterday and he could not take these defects off due to already being refused. I can't talk to anyone as the option for call back is not there. What should I do and how can I get these defects removed. It seems unfair as this was a genuine reason why I could not send the items. any help would be great. Also how long will the defects be on my account if I can't get them removed. This is going to affect me through christmas.
