I have listed an item that's been paid for and sold. The items been shipped using a different tracking number than the pre paid postage the buyer paid for. The item has been delivered but eBay doesn't know this and the funds haven't been released. How can I get my funds released? I have emails with the buyer sharing the new tracking number etc

First see if you can add the new tracking to the order by going to the Order Details > Postage > dropdown menu (beside track package) > Add Tracking > + Additional Tracking Number. If not contact ebay and ask them to do it. You can use callback on here:

You should be able to manually edit and add the new tracking number , where the item is marked as dispatched, but use a laptop / PC with Chrome, not the app or mobile browser.
If not possible, contact eBay Customer Services, they'll do this for you, and your payout should then be released, 2 days after that delivery date, that is, if there are not other holds as for a new or returning seller.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.
