Hi. I recently sold an item on Ebay shortly after it was listed and the buyer requested Inpost as the delivery option. I posted the item into the inpost locker and to be fair, it was collected promptly by the courier. However, the buyer failed to collect within the three day timeslot so Inpost said they are returning the parcel to me. As the return delay is over 72 hours I have contacted Inpost who are looking into the issue but have advised me to report this to Ebay as well. Having looked on the website, the help section for this kind of issue is very buyer focused. Has anyone experienced this problem at all?

If the tracking is not showing delivery and the item has gone missing ask the buyer to open a "not received" case. Then under Simple Delivery rules ebay should issue the refund and you keep the payment.
