I’ve had issues with eBay changing my postage over to simple delivery from the start
I used Evri courier collection for items over 60 cm in the past, and Royal Mail for standard parcels up to 60cm
since simple delivery there has not been the size option for parcels over 60cm unless you choose oversized option which costs around the £12 mark ( who would want to pay this on an item that
costs the same?) ie Parcelforce
when consulting eBay I was told I could use Evri as they accept parcels up to 120 cm - so I selected Evri postage for my longer items but this changed all my postage to this courier ( and the drop off point was in the next village (awkward and time consuming to do this for every parcel) … so as a work around I have added a footnote to my item description saying to select Evri as the item is too long for Royal Mail postage - hopefully this will solve my issues ??!!
but I shouldn’t have to do all this EBay should have sorted this out when promising SIMPLE DELIVERY
