Is anyone else having Problems loading an advert

I'm unable to load the page of an advert.  I see the listing but when I click on the page I can't see the pictures, price, information and any way to purchase said item.. 

Is there anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Have you returned to selling after a bit of a break from selling ?

You may be prevented from listing an item, because you have not fully or correctly registered with eBay's Managed Payments.

You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified.  The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive,  and confirm to eBay.

Once this is completed,  you will be able to list items for sale,  and receive payouts from those sales.

This will show you how to register for eBay's Managed Payments.

If there is an issue with the registration contact eBay Customer Services,  who have full access to your account,  and can see where the issue lies and explain the steps you now need to take.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Thanks. Have been a member for years, sold and purchased as long. Everything was fine until Tuesday, then the pages just stopped loading properly. Can't view the advert or buy anything.

I can see you have been a member for years,  but have you fully and correctly registered for eBay's Managed Payments?

Even if you have your bank details registered with eBay , you still need to show them the bank account your wish to use to receive payouts,  this may be a different one.  This then has to be verified with 2 micro deposits.

Does the above all sound familiar?  Have you gone through that process?

I only ask as I can see a big break from receiving feedback as a seller , showing perhaps you have returned to selling after a break?  

If registration for eBay's Managed Payments has not been completed it will stop you listing an item for sale.

I just buy now..  Haven't listed for a while.  Everything has been fine until Tuesday and then the pages just stopped loading properly on my app based eBay. Was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing an issue. I've looked on a few forums and have noted that other people are having issues also. And sellers are chatting about sales dropping off the cliff, this week. I theorised the issues to be linked in some way.. 

Oh well, I need a new phone so may as well use this opportunity to get a new one and start again

Aaah  Ok just buying.

I don't use the app,  it's too limited , and fraught with glitches,  but I believe there is a new update to download which is....  6.192.0.3

Maybe this hasn't been completed?

Yes, you're right. Just looked on Google and it said the update happened on the 19th - which makes sense why I couldn't really see anything on the 20th. !..  

... Not sure why the "playstore" isn't updated. I'll try an uninstall and see if that helps.

Aaah  you're very welcome,  I'm happy not to use that app,   especially hearing all the issues it has on here,  and  being ready to download new updates etc. etc. 

 Nope it's the ol' laptop and Chrome for me,  happy with that combo, little or no issues for me there !  🤗

I think I've got to the issues of the problem. And by reading through the threads now I see that you've been able to copy in some eBay people. 

It looks like the playstore app is the problem, or that version of the app. 

When on an android phone and Dowload, it appears that version 6.49.0.3 is the only version that is provided. (I noted the version number prior to removing and subsequently on reinstallation.)

I am assuming that this is where the glitch is occurring. 

The last updated version from playstore is from 2024.

You can even see on their app notes that an update is needed to fix glitches, but is only version provided. And won't update to anything else.
