I was just getting used to obtaining invoices for purchases I've made (which I use for my own accounting) but I've noticed there is no invoice available when buying from a business seller (and hence no breakdown of VAT and other costs). This seems mad since business sellers are usually the ones required to issue an invoice and provide a cost breakdown.
It also says "Including buyer protection fee" when buying from business sellers, when the T&C's clearly state that the fee does not apply.
These glitches are something that ebay needs to keep up with. Even though there's no general legal requirement it's basic stuff that most UK companies do automatically and have done for years without any trouble.
The screenshot shows a recent purchase from a business seller. I hope that this is just a temporary glitch and I'm pretty sure it used to work, but I'd appreciate it if someone could pass this information onto ebay, thanks XX
