OK, so can anyone tell me what this ' Insertion fee' is all about please? I was wandering why not alot of money was coming through my account when I have been selling a few things lately. So I looked at my payments list, went down it and there's 60 yes 60 of these insertion fees of £0.35p. Am I being charged for everything I put on, as soon as it goes on, and whether it sells or not? I have things that aren't selling but I just keep them going around incase someone sees them and likes them. They seem to be taking .35p from every item I put up for auction and I've just added it up over the last few days at 0.35×60=£21.00!! WTH So the things I am selling is basically paying for the things that aren't!! Is this right? Please tell me they've made a huge mistake and or I've taken this wrongly?
TIA

Looks like you are selling items for a 3 day duration? This is an optional listing upgrade and comes with a 35p non refundable listing fee .
Add any of the following optional listing upgrades, and they all come with a non refundable listing fee.
This is payable sale or no sale and charged the second the item goes live.
Reserves: 4% of the set reserve ( maximum £150 per item)
Subtitles: £2
Listing in 2 categories: 35p
Gallery Plus: £2.50 ( free for clothes and shoes)
Listings with duration 1 - 3 days 35p
As a tip, before clicking on the final List Item With Displayed Fees button, glance just above it, it should read £0.00 Listing Fee.
If there is a fee amount listed there, you have selected an upgrade, and if you wish, it gives you time to scroll up and remove the payable upgrade.

Ebay have not made a mistake and the fees have been charged correctly.
You get 300 free listings a month.
When you have exceeded that, you are charged a 35p fee for each new listing and for every time you relist an item.
If an item doesn't sell, it still counts towards your 300. As we are nearly at the end of July, it looks as if you have run out of free listings so every item you now list or relist is being charged at 35p.
You can check how many free listings you have left (or by how many you have exceeded the free 300) from your 'Selling' page.
