I want to return my jacket and exchange it for a much smaller size. I chose size UK 12 which indicates that The sleeve length isL as 24" and the chest 40". However, when it arrived the chest measures 50" and the sleeve length is 27". So I asked eBay under the banner "not as described". However, the seller has asked me to change the case to "does not fit". I'm not sure whether I can do this as I might have to cancel the return request (or exchange) and will then not be able to open up another case for the same item - making this case more vulnerable. It's over £100 hence my concern. Any advice please as to how to move forward. I'm sure the seller has his reasons (they're in Pakistan or UAE) and it is beautifully made so I don't want to damage their reputation - it's just their sizing chart is rubbish not their design or fabric or manufacture.

Keep to the case you opened and don't trust this seller - if you had chosen 'does not fit' you would have to pay the return postage.
Escalate the case after 3 full days if they don't send you a prepaid returns label.
