Why? They must have given a reason.

It is up to a seller to ensure that item is acceptable in terms of size and weight to the chosen courier.

if it up to me then I find the process very unclear

I posted for suction an item and made clear the buyer pays for shipping.

When I poster the advert your platform calculated the shipping based on the item I was selling. I did not select a size or weight. Now I end up paying for shipping cost which is grossly unfair

How do I cancel the transaction as the shipping cost exceed the sale price which is ridiculous, why would anyone do that

Failure to honour a sale without buyers agreement gives you a defect which can affect your ability to sell.

Buyer only pays the shipping cost shown on the listing, in most cases the buyer will pay sale price plus shipping cost to you the seller and it is then up to you to pay for the shipping.

Alternatively you can select BUYER PAYS SHIPPING COST in which case you get label sent to you.

Which ever way it is done whoever calculates the cost needs weight and size, and getting it wrong makes it expensive for seller.
