How do I correct an incorrectly entered tracking number as a seller?

I entered the incorrect tracking number for a sent and happily received item. How can I correct this

Is the payment for this item being held because tracking is not showing delivery?  If so, contact eBay Customer Services,  provide them the tracking details which have not updated but the item has been delivered,  could they please release your payout for this item,  sooner.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

 

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

 

If your payout for the item has cleared that is it's in your Available section for withdrawal,  then do not worry do much about that tracking.
