I bought my wife a watch on ebay . The seller was in south Korea if im honest i didnt realy give it a second thought i was told that it was bought from a dutyfree show . The watch turned up a a couple of days later i was very inpressed with the delivery time . Shortly after i received a letter from Fedex as i had scams every day from Fedex in my email i just bined the letter 2 moths later i received another letter from Fedex this time i opened it to find a warning letter for unpaid inport duty this time i rang them and found it was for the parcel fron South Korea is there any thing i can do ? If i had known there was a further cost i would never have accepted delivery and had it returned now its over 2 months later and i cant return it .

Import tax and delivery charges should be paid when importing goods unless a seller uses the ebay global shipping programme, which means any costs are included. Best you contact fedex and asked them about the charges,or they can refer you to a debt collector,if it's a genuine request and you don't pay the fee to them

If you don't pay Fedex they will continue to chase you for the duty and may get debt collectors involved. THis could impact your credit rating.
If you don't think the duty should be payable they should have a process for dealing with that, but it sounds to me as if it is due. Your import cannot have been 'duty free' even if the seller bought it as such.
Refusing to pay import taxes and duties invalidates the ebay money back guarantee. It may have been returned but you would have lost what you paid for it.
