The postage label issued by ebay via their "simple delivery" system wasn't adequate for the weight and size of item I had sold. I therefore had to pay for new posteage to ship the item - no problem. The original postage label is therefore unused and I'd like it refunded - Royal Mail imply this is possible.
On the "My eBay: Postage labels" section of the site when I click "Cancel Label" next to the item in question I get the message: "This postage label can't be cancelled".
I have updated the listing with the new tracking info so it should be clear that I've not used the original label.
How do I go about requesting a refund for this postage?

With simple delivery, buyer pays for postage label, you get link to print it.
If you buy another label, you pay for it.
You must make sure you put correct details in postage section for correct label.
Opt out of Simple delivery while you still can.

You didn't pay for label, buyer did.
So you won't get refund.
