I tried to bid on 3 mini cheese knives earlier. A message came up to say because they were blades I would have to prove I am over 18. The only proof Ebay accepts apparently is a credit card, which I do not have and will not use. I entered my debit card details but refused as not a credit card. Is this correct policy. I have no problem proving my age but it seems ridiculous to have only one eligible item to prove age. Ebay have all my details on my account and the strange thing is I bought a picnic holdall a few weeks ago that contained 6 knives and had no trouble bidding and buying. I am over 70, have a driving licence, passport etc so quite
