How to get payment when items have been collected without collection code

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

What can I do to receive payment? A buyer had their parent collect an item, I took a picture of the item being collected, the buyer has confirmed that they have it. But I haven't got a code to input to confirm that, also I can't contact the buyer again (they haven't responded to a message). 

How do I get the funds in this case?

There isn't a way to prove that the buyer has collected their item without that code, really you should not have handed over the item, hopefully it's not an expensive one.

Without a code eBay may hold your payment for between 14 - 21 days.

Maybe contact the buyer once more asking them to check the email they received from ebay when they paid, for the 6 digit code and there order details also,and then they can pass the info over to you so you can manually enter the code details into your details so you get paid quicker,usually 2 days later.

Hello,

thanks for your help. I have messaged the buyer, but they haven't
responded. I suspect if they only look at ebay when they are buying,
there's a chance they won't see. As long as I get the money eventually I
don't mind waiting.

As long as the buyer bought the item from your eBay listing and paid for it through eBay checkout,  then you will receive your payout, but now with no code,  will need to wait 14 days.

Unless you are a new or returning seller,  then longer holds may be in place, usually up to 21 days.
