If your item is eligible for an eBay Authenticity Guarantee, it will be automatically added to the program free of charge and you will be notified. There is no opt-in or opt-out option. Only items in specific categories can be listed with an Authenticity Guarantee.

To get an item on eBay UK with the Authenticity Guarantee, ensure it's eligible (selected brands, categories, and price thresholds) and list it. A blue tick badge will appear, and upon sale, you'll ship the item to an authentication facility for inspection before it's delivered to the buyer.

More details would help - what are you listing, how much for, what brand is it?

Not all items qualify for the authenticity guarantee, it is not an option a seller or buyer can choose.
