I have recently listed an item. It now has a bid on it in its 2nd day. I've had a question which I've answered by adding detail in the description of the auction, but I'd also like to add additional photos to support my amendment.
I keep getting a 'too many pictures' error even though there are only 16/24 after the 3 news ones I added. I've tried adding 1 at a time, same issue.
Any suggestions? OR help on how I log a fault/bug? I've tried the normal help + the chat bot and now here...

It's not a bug. Once you receive a bid you cannot add any more photos to the listing. You can add a note but no amendment.
This is because current bidders would be very unlikely to come back and re read a description, or look at photos again and there could be a major change that they would be unaware of.

I'll accept your answer as a solution (thanks), but, as I fed back to eBay on 2 fronts;
1. Then don't have a button that allows you to "Add" a photo AND give poor error messages that made it look like a bug (It said 'too many photos' as an error). I'm pretty sure it'd be a 1 day job to develop something to cater for this!
2. Have the ability to do it, but send an eMail to bidders and watchers + call it out clearly in the auction.
I'm fine with it just to be clear! But, it's just with such a mature product, this was a very poor experience as a user...
Thanks for your time to respond!
