How to cancel order for wrong item?

I need to find the order number for an item I mistakenly tried to buy a couple days ago. Realized it was wrong item right before paying.  Seller will cancel it but needs the order number which I can't find and Ebay hasn't replied.  Appreciate help.  Thanks

Go to My eBay > Purchase History.   Find the item and the order number is at the top, just below where it says order date.
