Hi there!
I had a listing hidden as it violated policy. Apparently I'm "offering to buy or sell outside of eBay", which is absolutely not the case. I can't work out why they think this, so I started an appeal on 20 Nov, and haven't heard anything. I can't delete the item, relist or anything. It's just a CD for £1.99 🙄
I can't find a way to get in touch with eBay about it - any ideas?
Many thanks in advance!

Thanks
It's a shame there's no email or chat support, or any way to just delete the item and be done with it 😃

I didn't bother contacting eBay in the end, as I found I could delete the item (unlike what I said in the original post). Not worth it for £1.99 😃
I'd still like to know why eBay considered that the listing violated policy. And why they never replied when I raised an appeal ...

Not unusual not to get a reply from ebay, it will be interesting to see how their proposed 24/7 contact with real people actually works.
I am also afraid that many of these strange decisions are made by AI, which is not very intelligent. As I cannot see the details of the item, I cannot comment, but I might have been able to suggest what harmless word/words had upset the system.

Thanks for your reply - if it happens again I'll let you know 🙂
