How do I get hold of an old postage label?

I need a copy of a postage label that is more than two weeks old. Is there a way of getting this from Ebay?

Do you download the labels?

If you do, look in your downloads - labels stay there until you delete them.

I don't think Ebay will be able to provide a copy of a label.  Why do you need it?

Don't download, normally print from Ebay app. I need to claim against the Post Office for an item that they lost. I need to have proof of sending. I don't understand why Ebay deletes these after two weeks.

The label is not proof of posting.

If you took the package to the Post Office, they will have given you a printed proof of posting.

that is what you need, that actual piece of paper.
