How can I avoid Evri delivery for purchases.

I bought an appliance with £7.19 "standard tracked delivery" which I assumed was royal mail 48. . When I got my confirmation the postage had changed to £5.99 via Evri.  Sadly I  avoid using  Evri , they are a disaster on our area.   I.asked the seller to use royal mail 48  tracked instead but he can't as eBay's generated the label.  I couldn't see any mention of Evri on the listing details and can't find any buyer options to avoid it. Not sure what to do to avoid Evri in future.

While sellers can avoid using Evri, buyers do not have this choice. Only by contacting seller before purchasing can you try to request the service you want.

Were you charged £7.19 or £5.99?
Sellers get cheaper prices if they offer both, excluding Evri and they pay more.

Thanks.  I was charged £5.99 and said I would pay more but the seller said he couldn't change it from Evri.
