How an I cancel a label that is not used

A buyer wanted item urgently so I sent by next day delivery so she wouldn’t be let down but it cost me £8.75 but I had to click on buy label to get her address which cost £2.94 for label as well. So it cost me £11.69. I only got paid £13 for the item. I thought I would be able to cancel the label £2.94 and get my money back but eBay won’t let me cancel it. How do I get eBay to ring me.

  • If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

  • If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.  Also ensure you add the replacement tracking number of the service used, and it shows delivery.

You can apply for a refund here https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller as long as you add the new tracking showing delivery and you paid for delivery,if buyer paid they will get refunded for unused label.
