a buyer has received a broken item that has happened during transit. I sent this via eBay postage through Evri. I have contacted Evri with photos of the damage, who have responded by saying it’s up to eBay to sort as it was sent via EBay postage. EBay say it’s the carrier who needs to sort it with me!! Who is responsible here???

If the item was sent using Simple Delivery then the buyer makes a claim using 'broken in transit' and ebay should cover it under seller protection.

 

If you bought the postage yourself through Packlink then you need to claim through them.
