You have 30 days from the item's last estimated date for delivery to receive a refund looks like that time has lapsed, so you'll need to turn to your payment provider now, for help with a refund.
Familiarise yourself with eBay's 30 day MBG, Money Back Guarantee policy, it's written on the right hand side of every listing, it can save you a lot of time and money in the future when buying on eBay.

Always use correct ebay procedures, asking just shows the seller they do not have to refund, at least through an ebay case.

The important factor here is, have you opened that case on time?
Are you still within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery?

You need to tell me when was the last estimated date for delivery for the item.
The whole outcome depends on your answer here whether you can receive a refund from your seller I cannot tell you, if you do not tell me.
Check this date on the original listing for the item in your Purchase History.
You are explaining you purchased the item at the beginning of December? Is this correct? If so, looks like you are out of time to claim with eBay and need help now from your payment provider.
