Help with refund to buyer

I need to refund a buyer for something that I had to cancel.    I have insufficient funds in my account as the postage got paid before I even sent anything.  So now ebay won't allow me to put in my bank details to top it up even though it asks for those details.

How am I supposed to give a refund like this??

Normally you can't sell without having an attached bank account.   Check the info on here:
