I recently sold an item and bought eBay paid postage label. Unfortunately when I took the item to the post office they told me it was too big for that postage label so I had to pay for another postage label with a new tracking number, which covered the old postage label. So as far as eBay is concerned the item has not arrived, it has because I have tracked it so they will not release payment. How can I resolve this? so I can get paid?

Using a laptop /PC and Chrome you should be able to change / edit that tracking number.
If not, contact eBay Customer Services they can do this for you.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.
Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.
I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
For the unused postage labels bought through eBay, you can receive a refund, but may need to wait 24 hours for the label to appear before being able to cancel it.
Find your label with this link . https://www.ebay.co.uk/ship/
The refund will take between 5 - 21 days to process.
