HMRC, 30 items limit

Hi,Guys

Sorry to say I will be leaving ebay soon due the 30 items limit.I won't be giving my national insurance number to anyone, its a ridiculous rule, which hasn't taken into account people who sell coins, stamps or like myself records a collection which I've had for the past 50 years. It looks like car boot sales for me.

HMRC, 30 items limit

HMRC have asked Ebay to give them this information.

Once you have sold 30 items, Ebay will pass your details to HMRC, and inform them that you witheld your NINO.

If you do not want to give Ebay your NINO, it would be a good idea to end your current listings as they may freeze payouts when you don't add your NI number to your account.

There is no '30 item limit' there is a 30 item reporting threshold.
