Guest checkout and can't contact seller

I recently purchased an item as a guest and not via my account. I'm trying to contact the seller but it asks me to register and because I already have an account,  it won't let me contact the seller

Any ideas?

You won't find any information of the seller or purchased item on your eBay account,  as it wasn't used.

The best option is  to get a new confirmation email using this link - https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/guest-order?topicId=4065&af=2.   It should have all the details you need.

From there you will be able to select the view order details if you need at a later time, to  open a case .

You can contact the seller from the account you have used to send your message to this forum - but they won't be able to connect this account to your guest purchase.

Why do you need to contact them?

If it is regarding your purchase, they won't be able to change the address or anything, but they will probably be prepared to answer a question.

Generally though, it's best to ask any questions before you buy and to log into your account to make a purchase.

You can't leave feedback if you buy as a guest.
