Goodwill partial refund

I bought an item that subsequently went faulty. It’s more than 90 days since buying the item so there’s no mechanism to get the money returned? Any ideas?

Ebay only covers you for 30 days.

If you bought a new item from a UK business seller, you may have additional rights.
