Giving a postage refund to someone, but it’s not working

so basically I sold a keyboard recently and I didn’t have the keyboard anymore so I’ve been trying to get the guy a refund. He has asked for a refund. I tried to refund the £3 for postage back and it doesn’t let me can someone please help me

If you refunded via a cancellation a full refund will have been issued automatically including the postage.   If you didn't refund via a cancellation and you need to refund more than the original payment (??) you'd have to use something like Paypal so send the extra to them.
