Sorry, I've just seen your post was unanswered.
There are many posts here describing the dreadful, or non service provided by Evri , you're not their only disgruntles customer.
However, some, and I'm one of the lucky ones have a fabulous Evri delivery person. She is always on time, polite and sends many messages for me to track my item if I wish.
It does solely depend on the person you are lucky / unlucky to have in your area, delivering items.
All I can suggest when buying from a seller is to send a polite message first before buying and paying, asking if they can deselect Evri from the item you wish to buy, they have the option to do this, and can leave Royal Mail or another courier there on their listing.
