Gave wrong item

Hi I sold some fishing rods and arranged for collection but my husband got confused and gave all the rods that sold to someone who collected them and did not realise that there was two different buyers please can someone help me as I now have a member asking for a collection of items that have been given away in error

All you can do is to message the buyer who came to collect explain the error made and could you please come and collect the extra rods which were not included and indeed sold to another member who is now waiting for their item.

Hopefully,  they will agree and you can retrieve those items, nothing eBay can do to enforce their return.
