Game not received & seller not responding

I pre ordered a game from the seller in September 2024 . The game was due to be released a few months later but was delayed until August 2025 so I contacted the seller in June and was told yes I would still receive my purchase. Now the game has been released for a few weeks now I have been trying to contact the seller to see where my order was and I can’t get any response or even send messages to the seller

presales are to be dispatched within 40 days of purchase according to eBay rules.

After a year it's doubtful if you have any way of getting a refund even for your payment provider.

By not finding out the rules for pre orders, you have just lost your money and many/months too late to even leave feedback.

These sellers make a practice of not delivering, knowing they get money for nothing and as far as their records show are good sellers and never even appear on ebay’s radar.

If buyers opened not received cases within the allowed time, and left negative feedbacks, ebay would eventually close their accounts.
