GLOBAL SHIPPING FAILED CUSTOMS

I sent a Nissan Micra door handle to the Republic of Ireland in June.  Tracking says that the parcel was under investigation and eventually failed customs and was returned to the retailer. However nothing has been returned to me.  I would like to now where i stand as i see this as a failure on Global Shippings part as they should be responsible for clearing the item through customs as they are aware of what the ebay seller is sending and why should a car door handle fail customs in the first place.

If the item was GSP your responsibility to it ends when it reaches Lichfield hub. As long as you can prove that, then ebay will take care of the rest if you will.

Has the buyer opened a case for non delivery? - They need to do this and you then will need to state item is GSP and put the tracking to show delivery to the hub.
