Our property was affected by a fire to a neighbouring property, and is still an active crime scene, we have not been allowed back in for the past 2 days and now have overdue shipments, I have managed to contact the buyers, who are all very understanding but is there anything else I can do or contact within Ebay as they will just keep getting further delayed until we can regain access, any help greatly appreciated

You could cancel the transactions and relist later for the buyers to buy again.   Or see if ebay will remove any late dispatch defects from your account.  You can request a callback on here:

One possibility, cancel sales, as ebay are not very helpful when it comes to late dispatch or delivery, and relist after you can complete sales.

Explain what you do so that buyers understand the reasons.
