Fees

How do I get in contact with eBay directly as I've been charged selling fees for an item that never went live? It was advertised overnight for a 7 day listing but the item couldn't be found via search or item number so was removed but eBay now want £50 for an advert that didn't advertise. Anybody else had this problem?

Fees

Such a large listing fee makes me think you added a Reserve to that listing?

These are the most expensive optional listing fee,  costing 4% of your set reserve,  and it's payable sale or no sale,  and charged the second it goes live,  even if you remove the item seconds / minutes later.

If you wish to contact eBay Customer Services to look into this for you,  this is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
