Fees

So I sold my fishing tackle on eBay free but was charged £72 tried talking to someone at eBay this morning and they couldn’t get off phone quick enough🥵does anyone know what this charge is?as I didn’t sign up for anything to help the sale was all done free.is there a complaint page?thanks

I can't think what that could be.   We have a Q&A session with ebay staff between 2pm and 3pm today.    Ask again on there.   Here's the link to it:

If you go to Orders and then 'order details' you get a full breakdown of payments and costs.

Can you screenshot that in this thread?

No as I can no longer get into my app on my phone as it blocked me out
yesterday 🤔I spoke with eBay this morning and was no help at all got me
signed in on google but dosnt show that transaction they ha basically
ripped me off for £72 and wasn’t interested didn’t even sort my mobile app
was just trying to get off phone so I’m screwed 🤯😡thanks

Wish I could but I can know longer get on my app was on the phone this morning with eBay customer service and they just couldn’t wait to get off the phone no explanation got me signed in on google but not on my app.apparently they took £72 out of the £500 payment I received for fees but I sold on the free eBay no charges was explained?got nothing out of eBay on the phone so looking like I’ve been had over and that’s that 🤯😡

All items for sale have a large blue 'Promote Listing' button next to them.  It looks as if you have clicked the button and then agreed to promote your item.

If you believe you didn't do so, you will have to speak to Ebay Customer Services again and convince them that you are not liable for the fee charged.

Tried that this morning didn’t even explain none of this but I definitely didn’t press and agreed to any thing what will cost £72 so as can no longer use app I’m just going to delete my account can’t see them doing anything sounded tired on phone this morning and sorted nothing for me.thanks for your help though folks
