Fees for business sellers

Hi All,
Looking at fees for Business sellers and have searched the ebay web site and there is a lot of conflicting information
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/fees-business-sellers?id=4809
This has several levels (i have copied the top cell).
Elsewhere on the site I have seen £19.99 + 5%.
I tried the ebay help bit but really not very useful at all.
Can someone confirm the actual fees for a Business account?

Thanks

Re: Fees for business sellers

Those are the correct fees for eBay shop levels plus VAT

The £19.99 is a fee for a private seller shop

Re: Fees for business sellers

Thanks for the information.
Would the Private Seller Shop avoid the new 75p fees?

Or do you need a full Business Account at £27 per month?
Thanks

Re: Fees for business sellers

Fees are based on account type.  All private accounts will be subject to the buyer protection fees for buyers.

Shops and businesses are not the same thing.  A business seller has to have an ebay business account,  they do not have to have a shop.

Re: Fees for business sellers

You would need a business account in order for your buyers to avoid the new fee.

Your buyers would not have to pay the new buyer protection fee of 4% + 75p per item if you had a business account.  You would have to pay fees though.  You would not have to have a shop (as has already been stated) but you would pay a listing fee for each item and a seller's fee every time you sold an item.

If you are trading (buying to sell), you should have a business account and a legal 'any reason' returns policy.

Re: Fees for business sellers

Thanks.
So having an Ebay Shop does not make you a Business.
Most items I sell are personal collections but do sell some items not wanted.
But looking to avoid the fees so will look to set up a Business account.

Just confused as I thought having a Shop would make you a Business.

Will try and find how to become a Business Account

Thanks again.
