Fake buyer of caravan

Caravan advertised on auction. Buyer wins, turns up and try’s a damp meter scam, presumable to offer me much less. I had a meter and proved his was incorrect and asked him to leave. I want to cancel the sale and not relist on eBay but the options given for cancellation don’t reflect refusing the buyer, more things like the buyer declined to buy or my product was out of stock, all things that lead to me having to pay eBay for a scammer to turn up at my door! Help appreciated!

Wait 4 days and you'll be able to cancel due to non-payment.

You could also use buyer requests to cancel, which they effectively did by refusing to buy.  That doesn't give them a defect though.

You will be stuck with the listing fees whatever you do.
