Evri

Our local evri drop off shop is in a tesco express shop and since last week the label printer has been taken away  so today we asked in the shop what was happening and the staff told us that the label printing machine has had so many problems it has been removed and the staff didn't think it would be replaced and that they would only be able to take parcels with pre printed labels on them ,so this has become a real head ache for us ,because we don't own a printer and the next nearest evri drop off shop is a good drive away ,so costing fuel ,wear and tear on the car  up a big hill and down again ,where as before we could walk to the original drop off shop in our town  .  I know we could cancel evri on our courier choices but we don't have smart phones either so we don't need  to print a label at home for evri ,we just tapped the 6 figures under the QR code into the Evri label machine and it was so quick ,then take the parcel to the counter for the tesco staff to scan and thats it in and out in under 1 minute ,now we have got to travel out of town to get our parcels posted with evri ,extra time and money .

Nothing to do with ebay, you need to complain to Evri.

Or just select RM as only postage option.

But ebay said if we cancel the one courier it could be more expensive using the other courier  . We didn't ask to be made to use Simple delivery ebay implemented it !!!!!!

No one likes SD, but it is compulsory for private sellers.

It looks like Evri and Tesco might need to have a look at the agreement between them.  I imagine Evri expects a full service to be provided.

I have opted not to use Evri and the postage is slightly more expensive but the difference is minimal.

The local (for you) issue with Evri is unconnected to Simple Delivery.

If SD had not been introduced, you would still be having to travel to post your items if the Evri printer at Tesco had broken.
