Evri lost post say eBay have to refund me

I put a claim in with Ervi for lost item, they said because I bought the postage through eBay. EBay have to refund me and not Ervi. I can not find any information about this.

If you used Simple Delivery ask the buyer to open a "not received" case then ebay refund the buyer and you keep the payment.

Your buyer needs to open an eBay item not received claim then, if this was sent via eBay's Simple Delivery, eBay will make the refund to the buyer, not you.
