Evri - disgraceful courier

I have had several disgraceful experiences with item bought through eBay and despatched via Evri courier. Evri are the worst courier imaginable, they received the items into theit delivery depot and they sit there for an inordinate length of time leaving customers to chase them up via an automated system that throws out random and standard replies that do not address the problem. Tracking stops ‘received into delivery depot’ and then it all goes cold. I a told that eBay are striking Evri off their list of couriers at the end of h

Generally their items do hold at delivery depot depending on the service the seller has selected.

I doubt eBay will be striking them off their preferred carriers as they will be earning a fee for every label sellers purchase.

ultimately you get what you paid for the cheaper the carrier the not so good the service.

Think you were told wrong.

Simple Delivery is said to be compulsory for Private sellers reportedly coming in before Q2. 

There will currently be 2 choices a seller can select to use,  Royal Mail,  the other Evri.
