Emails not sent

I'm trying to contact a buyer to arrange collection, but every time I try to send the buyer an email the message disappears and can't be found in my 'Sent' folder. I have tried using an Android phone, Windows laptop and an iPad but with the same result.

I understand that eBay are aware of some emailing problems, but as far as I can see those problems are subtly different to my situation. 

Is there a solution?

The message format has changed.

When you reply to a message your message 'attaches' itself to the message you are replying to and becomes one long message. 

Click on that message either use the up and down arrows on your device or if you can,  there is a thin scroll bar on the right of the message use that to scroll and find your reply.

Not the best change in my humble opinion !

Thank you tressygirl, and I do agree with you about the changes to messaging.

Unfortunately I don't have an email chain to scroll through, all I have is a "Buyer's Note" attached to  the order in my "Orders awaiting  dispatch" folder. The buyer wanted to collect the day after the auction closed, so assuming they are keen to pick up their purchase I am surprised they haven't emailed me. I suppose its not inconceivable they are having the same problem.

Could they have inadvertently blocked emails from me? If so, is there any way my wife could contact them on my behalf through her eBay account?

Has the buyer paid?

You can't give out contact info until they do.

Try going to buyers feedback page and use the contact link on there.
